What is the Essence of Things? by Russell L. Blaylock, MD

Many skeptics have stated that science is the final arbiter of all knowledge. Is it or is science merely man’s feeble attempt to understand the universe and God’s creation? “Follow the science” is the mantra of the uneducated today. Anytime there is a question, about anything, these individuals think science either has the final word or will have the final word on the issue in question. As we have seen over the last two years, this has led to people becoming victims of the Covid injection bioweapon, the chief method of population reduction or population control. “Follow the science” is the mantra responsible for the faith in certain institutions, such as Harvard, Johns Hopkins, UCLA, Stanford, the CDC, NIH, WHO, et cetera.

The average person is enthralled with authority and credentials. If one lacks credentials in a certain area under discussion, they treat that person as irrelevant. The “expert” is chosen for them by an unknown chosen elite, usually the media, and they listen attentively. All others, even if they are far brighter and have been correct repeatedly—are ignored by the indoctrinated. To penetrate the “anointed” is virtually impossible.

To argue with the so convinced is to argue with a message on a tape recording. No matter what you say, the message from the recorder is the same. It cannot be convinced by argument—the message is fixed.

We have seen this throughout the Covid-19 “plandemic,” as it has been called. The driving force is fear—fear of death and disability. They are riveted to the message from the indoctrinators. It is the chosen elite of society who can save them, and they are convinced of this and to try to convince them otherwise is a lost cause. No argument, no study (no matter how carefully done) can change their mind.

The indoctrinators use several “tricks,” Pavlovian in nature, to convince people that “you, the un-vaxxed are the enemy.” They repeat endlessly that “you killed grandma” or that the “pandemic and lockdown would be over if you had just followed their instructions”—“wear your mask,” “stand a distance apart,”  but most importantly, “get your vaccines and boosters” every year. Another lie is “this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.” All easily proven lies—but not to the mind that is controlled.

Studies of a massive rise in all-cause mortality, stable through most years before the shot, and the death of their family members soon after receiving the injection does not convince them. The indoctrination is powerful and overcomes most human emotions. The economy can fail, many businesses can close permanently, and it has no effect on their thinking. “Do what the government says, and we will be safe,” is their primary thinking. Critical thinking is seen only among a few, and they are viciously attacked by the promoters of “safety first.”

Ben Franklin, one of America’s Founding Fathers, had this to say, “Those who would give up essential Liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” One of my favorite quotes by Mark Twain says it all. It gets to the core of why they are so intransigent. He said, “It is easier to fool someone than it is to convince them that they have been fooled.”

Everyone likes to think they are as smart (or smarter) than their fellow citizens and no one can trick them—they are too cleaver. The idea that you saw through the ruse but they did not and fell for it, is an insult to their intelligence. In their mind, they are just smarter than you. Have you ever witnessed a scam—land that is under a swamp, and try to convince the convinced friend that it was a scam? Good luck. They will show you the glossy pamphlet and laugh that you thought it was a scam. Then reality will strike, and it is too late for them. They do not want to be told—“I told you so.” We saw it with the handful of economic thinkers that warned of the coming collapse of 2008, like Peter Schiff. The media experts laughed at him with scorn. Then he was proven right, and he gave another warning of a coming economic collapse—they again laughed at him with scorn. Some people never learn. That is why scams work over and over.

John Lennox, a scientist and mathematician who I admire, a real critical thinker, once asked a professor of his, “What is energy?” After a litany of descriptions of what energy does, Professor Lennox said, “No, I know what it does, what is its essence?” His physics friend had no idea. That is what science often does—they want to talk about the properties of something rather than the essence of something. They want to describe what it does.

There are several major mysteries that all real scientist thinkers know but the general public does not know. They think they know. What is life? What is consciousness? What is energy?  There are many such mysteries.

The Bible, millennia ago said, “All things are made of things that cannot be seen” and “all things were made by God’s word.” We now know that these are truths. Physics discovered that there are not two separate forms, matter and energy. They are all energy. But God made matter from energy with His word. We have no idea how but He did. It was the power of His word.

I once told my grandson about the mystery of life. Do not go back as far as the fools who tried to create life from scratch. Instead take a blender, kill a frog and put the frog’s body in the blender. Everything is present, the complex molecules, the proteins, carbohydrates the fats—everything will be present. Shoot some electricity in the goo, whatever. It will never come alive, yet it has everything present that was once alive. What is missing is “life,” something we do not understand—its essence.  We know what it does, but what is its essence? Only God knows.

The same is true of consciousness. We know what it is or think we do. We call it self-awareness or many other descriptive names. But what is its essence? We know no more than man knew 6,000 years ago. It will always remain a mystery—God’s mystery.

Science assumes many things and the general public think they understand it or think the scientist does. The scientist assures the public that they do not know now but one day they will. There is no evidence for that assertion. Science has learned a great deal, but the number of mysteries that remain would fill all science books of the earth. These are God’s secrets.
