Cassandra’s Curse: Seeing the future can be dangerous, even deadly by Russell L. Blaylock, MD

When I took Shakespeare’s Comedies and Histories in college, I was intrigued by the myth of Cassandra. Apollo doomed her for having the curse of prophecy—that is, being able to see the future, but no one would believe her. And, the ones who defend the liberty of the individual find themselves in that untenable position today.

Most of us who are “truth tellers,” have experienced persons who refuse to see what is coming, regardless of the evidence. We are called “conspiracy theorists” that “misinform” or “mal-inform” the public with so-called delusions or worse, despite data and evidence confirming what we have said. The mal-informed term is the most telling. It means that the even though the charge is true, it causes the reader to distrust the central planners and the globalists. That means they want us, the citizens, to become accessories to their nefarious plans no matter the evidence or the lie involved.

Many truth tellers are doxed, their families are threatened, they are fired from their jobs or lose needed licenses, and other maleficent methods of personal destruction.

As the extremists in our mist come closer to reaching their goals of absolute power, they become increasingly desperate, not wanting to lose what they have gained. As a result, efforts by others who tell or expose these things get more personally hazardous. The fascists in our midst accuse us of doing what they are doing. This is their usual tactic.

If we examine other radical revolutions in history we see as the revolutionaries get closer to their goals, they become more radical and desperate, including destroying their opponents personally, even killing them.[1] French revolutionaries used either mass beheadings of the nobility and royalty, not exempting Louis XVI or his wife Marie Antoinette, or the physical destruction of anyone who defied them. Dr. Miguel Faria witnessed this type of destruction first-hand, and has written about authoritarian violence and totalitarian censorship repeatedly in his articles and recently in several books, including Cuba in Revolution and Cuba’s Eternal Revolution.

Today, as the opposition—namely, the supporters of limited government, individual freedom, and free speech—begin to fight back, we are seeing an increase in that type of violence and censorship. Our educational system has all but been destroyed, and the youth are being heavily indoctrinated on a daily basis. The use of drugs is rampant, illegal immigrants (mostly criminals) and terrorists are pouring across our borders, the economy is in near shambles, crime is out of control, and Satanism is on the rise. The controls by the Left are tightening as extremists push forward their radical agendas—falsely labeling it as “progressivism.”

Even our language is being altered by the radicalism. The mentally ill or deviant transgender individuals, who refer to themselves as gender nonbinary demand to be addressed by pronouns they choose, including nonsense words such as Ze, Xe/Xem, Hy/Hym and C0/cos. People are told to recognize that “men” can get pregnant or even have periods. If they refuse to comply, they are accused of hate speech and in some countries, fired from their jobs, fined, or arrested.

What we are witnessing is a destruction of normality, as I wrote previously. The Left is dictating the new norm, and much of it is beyond absurd. Western society is being dismantled. If we look again at most revolutions in history, the totalitarianism that results is preceded by anarchy or near anarchy—that is, chaos.[2] As a result of this social destruction, especially widespread lawlessness, the public will demand order, even at the loss of individual freedom. The American founder Benjamin Franklin was correct when he stated, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

It is obvious that the local police are being defunded at the insistence of the Left and their followers for the purpose of destroying society with uncontrolled lawlessness. Citizens quickly realize that this is intolerable, and the next step, if we are alert, is a national or even an international police force. The beleaguered public may demand it. The future, if that should happen, is a totalitarian government.

For instance, my mentor in neurosurgery was Dr. Ludwig Kempe, who lived in Germany as Adolf Hitler rose to power. Over the years, we had long, private discussions about what it was like and the progression from anarchy to totalitarianism. Historians of the Russian and Chinese communist revolutions all relate the same story. In fact, Dr. Faria recapitulates those horrific happenings in both Russia and China in his most recent book—Stalin, Mao, Communism, and their 21st-Century Aftermath in Russia and China. One should get and study this book because it is our future if we continue on this same course.

Moreover, the new President of Argentina, Javier Milei, reviews the blessing of the free enterprise system in an excellent address he gave before the recent World Economic Forum.

Additionally, one of the obsessions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) is “sustainability.” What I tell people is that according to their writings, this is about reducing the dependence and use of unrenewable resources, especially those which produce C02 gas emissions, such as burning oil products (they are not fossil fuels), electricity use, and cattle flatulence.

Yet, to accomplish this goal means that those who use these resources must be discouraged from this activity—such as reducing or eliminating beef eating, driving electric automobiles, stopping the use of gas stoves, et cetera. But most important, according to these elite intellectual morons, is to reduce the users of these resources, and that is accomplished best by depopulation. Based on their speeches and writings, we are seeing, in my opinion, a massive move toward a need to “cull the herd.”

At present there are about 8 billion people on the planet and the goal is to eliminate 7.5 billion of these people, leaving 500 million alive to be controlled by the elite. This was emblazoned on the Georgia (USA) stones before they were blown up. In my estimation, and some others, the best way to do that is with the injections, the mRNA “vaccines.” It has been estimated that 18 million people have died, and 1 billion are permanently disabled from these injections. Medical experts have discussed the deaths in the vaccinated population and there has been a call by researchers urging the governments of the world to stop the Covid-19 “vaccines.” The high death rate from those injections is based on the most accurate data we have, and not on computer models frequently used by proponents of such programs. In the UK, it was recently estimated that 95 percent of the deaths above the usual all-cause mortality were due to the injections of the mRNA “vaccine.”

Other methods used to reduce population growth prior to this have been less successful: abortion, encouraging homosexuality, and various food additives—MSG and aspartame, for example. In their estimation, only with mandated, mass vaccination would world population control be possible. You may remember in the 1970s college students signing a pledge not to have any children in the future. It was a brief fad but failed to depopulate the world.

One may notice the elites never include themselves or their families in state-ordered elimination. This is also why we are seeing a return of euthanasia or assisted suicide in some countries and states. Euthanasia did not start with Hitler’s Nazis; it began in the United States. Edwin Black has an excellent book on the history of this practice, War on the Weak.[3]

Today, our education system, as well as the military (and many corporations), are steeped in “wokeism,” a nonsense term created by the Left to describe the new “thinking.” European countries and even the Israeli Left have become obsessed with this nonsense.[4]

The mainstream media, schools, and Hollywood are demonizing capitalism and the free market system. The global lockdown permanently closed over 50 percent of the restaurants. Furthermore, the main part of the plan behind “global warming” is the destruction of the free market and its replacement by a system of world socialism controlled by the elite. Parallel to this is depopulation of the world. It is time for decent people to wake up to the pervasive evil all around them.
